| Trittbrettl on International Festivals
Trittbrettl was founded in 1982 as a unique combination of actors play, mask theatre and puppet theatre. Since then we developed performances for adults as well as for children, always working against the wide spread prejudice that puppet theatre is only for children. By touring and playing at national and international festivals for many years Theater Trittbrettl got the experience to adapt to almost every situation (see our below list of international festivals). FOR ADULTS "ADAM - a journey to a male subconciousness" is puppet-theatre which was written especially for international events. It operates with no more than images and music instead of words. FOR CHILDREN We perform our plays "Kudl & Mudl" as well as "Florians wundersame Reise über die Tapete" ("Florians wondrous journey over the wallpaper") partly in english. We interact with a translater who introduces each szene. The settings themselves are clear to understand and the pictures explain themselves. For further information please contact us.
